People & Planet Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation headquartered in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, with programmes running across the state and a strong on-ground presence in Ahilyanagar. We work at the intersection of environmental stewardship and human development.

A brief history
The Foundation was set up by a group of citizens from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar who shared a quiet conviction: that the climate and social challenges facing our region are deeply linked, and that long-term answers must come from within communities.
What began as a small volunteer effort — tree plantation drives, science workshops and health camps — has grown into a structured organisation with focused programmes across five areas. The work is modest but steady, and shaped by the people we work alongside.
